Animal care at Milford pre-School

Thanks to their leader, Sarah Rix, children at Milford Pre-School are encouraged not just to show an interest in animals but to handle them too. It is not uncommon for a visitor to be given an earthworm from a tiny hand! It is wonderful to see children who are not in the slightest bit squeamish.
The photos below show a small selection or animal treasures, both vertebrate and invertebrate, that the children discovered in the garden during their parents' and carers' Big Dig!
