Children at Milford pre-school are learning about growing beans; not in a jam jar with blotting paper, but in the garden. And it's not just growing beans they'll learn about, they are looking at pollination too! Does it matter if the plant self pollinates? What are the effects? Big grown up questions for three and four year olds. This is a citizen science experiment the children are taking part in. What a learning experience!
