Love Where You Live -Keep Britain Tidy

Love Where You Live is a new Keep Britain Tidy campaign that aims to inspire, encourage and enable us to make where we live, work and play the kind of place we really want it to be. In conjunction with Eco-Schools, Love Where You Live has developed a special series of educational resources. These include a range of free lesson ideas, assembly ideas, and challenges that link with the national curriculum and Eco-Schools Awards in creative ways.

The Big Tidy Up

With litter being a major issue for many schools across the country, registering your school for the Big Tidy Up is an ideal way to teach young people about the problem of litter in their local environment. The Big Tidy Up also offers lesson plans to incorporate a community tidy up into the curriculum.

Roots & Shoots

The Roots & Shoots program is run by The Jane Goodall Institute and is about making positive change happen through empowering young people with the inspiration and tools to make a difference - for our communities, for animals and for the environment. 'Environment' includes dealing with litter!
